Condon is for lovers: Celebrate Valentine's Day with a hotel, dinner, and a show

The Condon Arts Council has joined forces with the Hotel Condon and the Wild Sage Restaurant to offer a Valentine's Day to remember.

Fresh off their concert at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada – Buffalo Kin will return to Condon on Friday, February 14th for an intimate performance at the Liberty Theatre.

A romantic movie will be shown at 6 PM, and Buffalo Kin will take the stage around 8:30 PM.

Buffalo Kin is the Western Folk Duo of Seth Brewster and Kate Eisenhooth. The couple's laid back sound is sure to set the tone for a romantic evening.

Guests who book a room at the Historic Hotel Condon will get free admission to the concert and can treat themselves to a special Valentine's Day menu at the Wild Sage, located inside the Hotel Condon.

Chef Aly Sedlock has been dreaming up this menu for several months and is excited to offer a four-course meal that couples will share. For $70, guests will get either Beef Wellington, with 29-brand filet mignon, or Crab Manicotti as their main dish – along with delectable options for starters and dessert.

A classically trained chef, Sedlock cooks everything from scratch and is pulling out all the stops for the romantic holiday experience. Guests are encouraged to RSVP at their earliest convenience.

With the final home basketball game in Condon taking place on Valentine's Day, the Wild Sage will also offer its regular menu and will stay open after the game.

The concert will also be available to those who come a little bit late from the game, and a cash bar will be available for guests who are looking to cuddle up during the performance.

The Liberty Theatre's balcony will be open for couples who want to relive the romance of their younger years.
