The Sherman Beef 4-H Club kicked off the year with their first meeting this week. (Sherman Co. 4-H)

The Sherman Beef 4-H Club met on January 20, 2025 at 6pm at the Extension Office. Present were Claire, Kennan, Vivian, Savanna, McKinley. Leaders Kayla and Austin. 4-H staff Cindy. Pledge of Allegiance led by Claire, 4-H pledge by Savanna.
What we did during the meeting: we introduced ourselves, we got out run down on 4-H record books, we talked about expectations, we talked about feed and price expectations. We also talked about medicine and basics, we talked about market steer health record, talked about little bit about what we'll do in the summer. We talked about records for everything, YQCA training (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals), and attending meetings.
Our next meeting will be February 17 at 6pm to do the YQCA training with Cindy. Meeting adjourned at 6:43pm.
