Congressman Cliff Bentz (R-OR) appointed to three energy and commerce subcommittees

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Cliff Bentz (R-OR) has been selected to serve on three subcommittees of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce for the 119th Congress: The Subcommittee on Energy, the Subcommittee on Health, and the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade.

These subcommittees will play a key role in shaping the upcoming Reconciliation bill and will deal with legislations addressing our nation's energy policies, healthcare systems, and economic activity.

"For the past four years, I have served on the Judiciary Committee and the Natural Resources Committee. Both these committees are excellent, and I have enjoyed my time on them," said Congressman Bentz. "However, being a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee (E&C) will give me new opportunities to address energy policy, healthcare, and economic development all of which impact my constituents."

Congressman Cliff Bentz will continue to serve as a member of the Natural Resources committee and has been reappointed to the Water, Wildlife and Fisheries and Federal Lands subcommittees.
