Condon Quilts organizes "sew-in" this week

The Condon Caring Quilts group invites all interested sewists to join them for a "sew-in" on January 9th, 10th, and 11th (come one or all three days) at St John Parish Hall in Condon. The group plans fun filled days sewing quilts to be presented to military veterans living in the Condon area. Presentations will be made during Condon's 2025 Fabulous Fourth of July.

Most necessary supplies will be provided during the sew-in, including irons, cutting mats, fabric and pre-cut kits. All you need to bring is your sewing machine, basic sewing supplies (ie: neutral color thread, scissors, seam ripper, pins), and your smile. If you have a favorite sewing chair, you are welcome to bring it as well.

Plans are to sew from 10am to 5pm each day and the group will provide a soup and bread luncheon daily.

If you have questions or wish to register for the event, please contact Juli Lantis (541-914-2084), Kim Farrar (541-384-3952) or Judy Thomsen (541-379-0095).
