City Council,
I would like to publicly acknowledge the outstanding community service provided by the Nazarene Church. Their recent and ongoing efforts to assist residents in the lower mobile home park have been truly commendable.
The church members have generously volunteered their time and resources to help haul off garbage and debris, yard maintenance, minor and sometimes major electrical repairs, structural repairs as well as various plumbing repairs. These are tasks that many residents were unable to accomplish on their own, either because they themselves do not have the resources or are physically unable to do so. Their selfless actions have not only improved the physical appearance of our community but have also provided much-needed relief to those in need.
I urge the City Council to recognize and commend the Nazarene Church for their dedication to our community. Their example serves as an inspiration to all of us, and I hope that we can continue to support and encourage their efforts.
