Condon High School celebrates homecoming

Homecoming was held at the Condon School last week, with volleyball games taking place on Tuesday the 8th, and Thursday the 10th.

Youth dressed up each day of the week, with polos or college clothing on Monday. High schoolers wore their nicest clothes on Tuesday, as the school hosted the Wheeler Co. Rattlers Volleyball Team. On Wednesday, kids in each class were given a decade – with seniors having the 2000s, juniors in the 1990s, sophomores in the 1980s, and freshman in the 70s.

Thursday was Devil Day, and the school was decked out in red and blue.

The volleyball game on Tuesday ended in defeat in straight sets to the Wheeler Co. Rattlers – a cooperative team of Wheeler High School, Spray High School, and Mitchell High School.

But the team bounced back on Thursday, beating Griswold in straight sets 3-0.

The Blue Devils have three games schedule this week – hosting Sherman County on Tuesday, then traveling to Ione on Thursday, before returning to Condon to host a League Tri-Match with Dufur and Lyle/Wishram.
