Senator will be in Condon on August 25
U.S. Senator Ron Wyden will be in Condon this Sunday, August 25 to meet with constituents. Senator Wyden is coming from the Democratic National Convention and will also make a stop in Enterprise on August 24th.
Recently, Senator Wyden has been working on several issues that could impact the region – particularly on support for those impacted by wildfires.
In addition, Sen. Wyden has been working across the aisle with Senator Mike Crapo to take on pharmacy benefit managers, middlemen who threaten locally owned, independent pharmacies.
Heading into these two town halls, Wyden will have held 1,097 town halls throughout Oregon – including 32 so far this year - in fulfillment of his pledge to hold at least one town hall each year in each of our state's 36 counties.
"Hearing directly from Oregonians helps me represent every nook and cranny of our state," Wyden said. "In the nearly 1,100 town halls I've held to date, I've gotten direct and productive feedback with ideas, questions and concerns that shape solutions we can work on together to make all of Oregon an even better place to live and work."
Here's where and when the upcoming town halls will be:
Wallowa County 1pm, Saturday, August 24
Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness, 606 Medical Parkway, Enterprise
Gilliam County 1pm, Sunday, August 25
Veterans Memorial Hall, 120 S. Main St., Condon
Doors will open 30 minutes before the town halls for attendees.
