The Gilliam County Public Library is gearing up for an exciting summer with its annual Summer Reading Programs, running from June 13th through August 1st. The programs offer a fantastic opportunity for children of various ages to engage in reading and fun activities throughout the summer months.
From 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) can participate in the Early Learning Summer Reading Program. Later in the morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Children's Summer Reading Program welcomes kids from kindergarten through 5th grade.
This year's theme is "Read, Renew, Repeat," emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and enjoyment of reading. Registration is strongly encouraged to ensure a spot in these popular programs. More information can be found on the library's website.
In addition to the regular reading sessions, there are special events planned. On June 20th at 11:00 a.m., the Border Collie International K9 performing team will be entertaining attendees at the City Park. Another exciting event will take place on July 18th at 3:00 p.m. when the Museum of Natural and Cultural History presents "Journey Under the Sea."
These programs and events are designed to foster a love for reading and provide enriching experiences for children. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to keep the kids engaged and learning all summer long.
