CONDON, OR – In a move set to invigorate local business advocacy and community development, Shania Drinkwine-Wagenaar has been selected as the new Executive Director of the Oregon Frontier Chamber of Commerce.
With a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement, Drinkwine-Wagenaar brings a fresh perspective and a passion for continuing in the footsteps of the two former Chamber Directors, K'Lynn Lane and Brooklynn Griffith.
Born and raised in Oregon, Drinkwine-Wagenaar has deep roots in Sherman and Gilliam communities, Shania has also served Wheeler County in other career positions within the last 10 years. She shows a strong commitment to our tri-county economic prosperity. Graduating from Condon High School, she quickly distinguished herself in the field of community development. Notably, she served as the Coordinator for the Gilliam County Transportation Program, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing operations, securing grants, and fostering collaboration among local and tri-county com-munity partners.

In her spare time, Drinkwine-Wagenaar enjoys working alongside her husband, Brandon Wagenaar and their two children at home on the ranch, volunteering as the local 4-H Leather Craft leader and running her small leather and silver business "Thistle Brand". She is known for her strong work ethic, her unwavering dedication to serving others, and her boundless enthusiasm for making a difference in her community.
