Several schools on 2-hour delay, Sherman closed

Drifting snow has prompted superintendents in area schools to delay start times in Condon, Fossil, and Mitchell. Sherman County will do distance learning today and no students will attend in-person.

Several inches of snow fell on Monday and overnight winds drifted snow in parts of Gilliam, Wheeler and Sherman counties.

Frigid temperatures are expected for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning with lows at -2 degrees.
