Echo tops Sherman in second match of Big Sky League 2021 season

(Moro) – The Echo Cougars traveled to Moro on Thursday to take on the Sherman Huskies in the Big Sky League’s second official volleyball matchup of the season.

The rival varsity teams started off fairly evenly matched in Game 1, until the Cougars took the lead and kept it — winning the first round 25-18. Echo continued the momentum in Game 2, pulling off a quick 25-10 win. Sherman held on in Game 3 but ultimately fell 25-18 once again, giving the match to Echo in three games.

Junior varsity played next, with the Huskies dominating 25-19 and 25-13, securing the win in two games. Sherman plays again at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Condon, and at 5 p.m.Thursday against Spray/Mitchell at home.
