Call for Applicants: Public Works Maintenance Crew Member / Water & Waste Water Operator Trainee The City of Arlington is requesting applicants for a full-time position as a Public Works Maintenance Crew Member and Water/Waste Water Operator Trainee. General Statement of Duties: Perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance and repair of city facilities such as streets, water systems, wastewater, solid waste collection and disposal, buildings and parks, golf course and related work as required. He/she shall operate equipment in the maintenance of city facilities. Will work rotating weekend duty. This worker is under the supervision of the Public Works Superintendent. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, valid Oregon driver’s license. Class B CDL desirable, or must be able to obtain within 90 days. Certification I in Wastewater Collection, Wastewater Treatment, and Water Distribution are preferred; but not required. Position includes a generous benefit package; salary negotiable, DOQ.
