City of Mitchell under Level 1 Evacuation Notice for Lewis Rock Incident fire

MITCHELL, Ore – Fire officials have placed the City of Mitchell and outlying areas under a Level 1 Evacuation Notice after the Lewis Rock Incident fire four miles to the south reached 75 acres. 

A Level 1 Evacuation Notice is the time to prepare livestock, property and pets for a potential evacuation. If conditions worsen, emergency services personnel may contact people with emergency notifications.
