Big game raffle ticket purchase deadline is May 22 at 6 p.m.

SALEM, Ore.—Hunters have until Saturday, May 22 at 6 p.m. to purchase a raffle ticket to win a special big game hunt.

The raffle drawing will be livestreamed at 6:30 p.m. over ODFW’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/IEODFW Winners are contacted by phone or email.

Usually the raffle drawing coincides with the Oregon Hunters Association annual State Convention, but not this year. OHA’s event is delayed until Aug. 7 due to the pandemic’s restrictions on gatherings.

Find details about the raffle including tickets available and prices at https://myodfw.com/articles/big-game-raffle-and-auction-hunts

Tickets can be purchased online via ODFW’s licensing system (https://odfw.huntfishoregon.com/login ) or at a license sale agent https://myodfw.com/articles/where-find-odfw-license-agentsvendors

Winners of the raffle tickets can hunt a long season during the rut (August-November), in an expanded hunt area. Tickets are available for statewide and regional deer and elk hunts, pronghorn antelope, Rocky Mountain goat, bighorn sheep and a combination deer/elk tag. Proceeds from deer and elk ticket raffle sales help fund the Access and Habitat program, which opens hunting access on private land. Proceeds from pronghorn, bighorn sheep and Rocky Mountain goat ticket sales fund management and research of these rarer game species.
